Who am I?

Developer based out of Berlin

Hi! I'm Marvin and I love building things for the web. My interest in web development started during my bussines administration studies in Berlin. Besides sustainability & environmental management, my focus was on digital business, in which I had first contact with creating a website for a local client.

After I got my Bachelor’s degree in 2021, I followed my urge to dive deeper into the world of web development. So I decided to participate in a coding bootcamp which was an amazing experience and the kickstart of my coding journey.

Some Things I’ve Built

Different Spotify

One of my first React & Next.js projects. I wanted to have some fun with Spotify's REST API. In order to do so, I had to invest more time than expected for understanding all the aspects of REST APIs and Spotify's OAuth flow. Eventually I could fetch data from the Spotify API and display it accordingly. If you have a Spotify account feel free to log into my web app and see your top artists and top tracks of all time.

News Feed

Fetching news using News API. You can choose between different categories and get a little preview. If you like the article you can click on it to be forwarded to the origin.

Shopping Basket

A little Shop component where you can put things into your shopping basket. Accomplished by reacts useReducer hook.

Sequenzer

This was my first big pure Vanilla Javascript project. After two month of coding bootcamp my partner and I decided to build a Sequenzer due to our similar interest in music. It was a very wild and chaotic development process but it was so much fun. We integrated a bunch of functions that you can paly with, you even can save your fire beats if you want to. It is up an running so go ahead and build some beats. Keep in mind that this was our first Project ever, so don't look too much at the source code! 😂
